LEGAL

Terms of Service

Effective August 12, 2026

Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the NextCal web application and, when released, the iPad application. By using NextCal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Using NextCal

You may use NextCal for lawful personal or business purposes. You are responsible for your account, connected calendars, event content, and activity performed through your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Connected services

NextCal may connect to third-party calendar and AI services. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or content they create or provide.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse NextCal, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, violate another person's rights, use the service for unlawful activity, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Your content

You retain ownership of the calendar information and other content you provide. You grant NextCal limited permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Availability and changes

NextCal is currently offered free of charge. We may add optional paid features later, change functionality, or discontinue parts of the service. The core calendar experience is intended to remain free, but we do not guarantee that every current or future feature will always be available.

No professional advice

Calendar events, AI-generated plans, workouts, recipes, itineraries, and similar content are provided by you or third parties. NextCal displays that content and does not verify it. Use your judgment and seek qualified advice where appropriate.

Disclaimer

NextCal is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, NextCal and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using NextCal at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address a violation of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as NextCal evolves. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Contact

Questions about these Terms may be submitted through the contact method provided in the NextCal app or website.
